Japan’s mobile operator NTT DOCOMO’s subscribers to its Xi LTE service surpassed five million on 19 August. Xi reached five million subscribers less than one month after surpassing the four million mark on July 22.
Japan’s mobile operator NTT DOCOMO’s subscribers to its Xi LTE service surpassed five million on 19 August. Xi reached five million subscribers less than one month after surpassing the four million mark on July 22.
According to company, the pace accelerated from this summer after DOCOMO introduced a lineup of a Xi-compatible smartphones that offer more variety to meet customer needs. Going forward, DOCOMO plans to continue to deliver enhanced customer satisfaction with its Xi smartphones, as well as compatible mobile Wi-Fi routers and other devices, and services such as Xi Talk 24 for free, unlimited voice calls between Xi subscribers.
