VivaCel-MTS launches commercial LTE network in Armenia

VivaCell-MTS has announced the commercial launch of the 4G LTE network.

VivaCell-MTS has announced the commercial launch of the 4G LTE network. Currently the LTE network is available in the small center of Yerevan, with further expansion planned in other parts of RA. The theoretical capacity of VivaCell-MTS LTE network is up to 150 Mbps for download and up to 50 Mbps for upload.

Operator is offering “Internet Express” package, which includes, a USB modem supporting LTE and a tariff plan designed for high-speed data transfer. For a fixed monthly fee the “Internet Express” postpaid tariff plan provides unlimited Internet in VivaCell-MTS 4G/LTE network.

“Internet Express” modem supports LTE (2600MHz), HSPA+/UMTS (2100MHz) and GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900MHz). According to tariff plan, Connection fee is AMD 20000 (charged only in case of renting the modem) and  monthly fee is AMD 15000. Consumers would be able to get maximum speed of 6 Mbps with this plan.
