December 13, 2009 – A concise update of the business drivers, objectives and targets for LTE – Long Term Evolution and SAE – System Architecture Evolution, now standardized by 3GPP and soon to enter commercial service, including network operator commitments and deployment/launch plans, trials, the developing eco-system including device/platforms availability, agreement on licensing IPR, performance and interoperability trials results, spectrum requirements and actions, Voice over LTE, and progress concerning the future evolution of LTE for consideration for the ITU IMT-Advanced standard.
