Swisscom is bringing gigabit connectivity to operator’s retail stores with the deployment of the Ericsson Radio Dot System. In Swisscom shops across Switzerland, gigabit speeds were achieved by the Ericsson Radio Dot System, with carrier aggregation over 3 LTE frequency bands, 4×4 MIMO and 256QAM, delivering up to 1.2Gbps in downlink capacity.

DOCOMO Conducts Successful Outdoor 5G Trial for Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communications
Japan’s mobile operator NTT DOCOMO has conducted a successful outdoor trial of 5G mobile technologies for ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC) using a 4.5 GHz system developed in collaboration with Huawei.
ZTE and Telefonica Complete 5G Phase I Transport Tests
ZTE has successfully completed phase-1 5G transport test in cooperation with Telefonica at its Future Networks Lab in Madrid, Spain. In this test, ZTE provided the new 5G Flexhaul solution, a transport solution integrating fronthaul, midhaul and backhaul features.
