Orange France has launched 4G LTE services for corporate customers and will introduce LTE for consumers from February 2013. Operator has now switched on LTE in four cities – Marseille, Lyon, Nantes and Lille. Orange had started a LTE pilot in Marseille in June earlier this year.

In addition, Operator plans to provide HSPA+ broadband access to 60% of the French population by the end of 2012.
Operator had earlier announced the plan to provide LTE services in 15 cities by summer 2013. Orange obtained a combination of 4G frequencies 2.6 GHz and 800 MHz, in late 2011.
