Communications service provider MTS has introduced LTE Wireless technology in Manitoba, Canada. According to company, customers on MTS’s 4G LTE Network have been enjoying even faster speeds since the end of August.
Communications service provider MTS has introduced LTE Wireless technology in Manitoba, Canada. According to company, customers on MTS’s 4G LTE Network have been enjoying even faster speeds since the end of August.
MTS’s LTE Wireless Network is currently available in Winnipeg and Brandon and complements its HSPA+ Wireless services. MTS plans to expand its new network to more communities across Manitoba in 2013.
Operator has also announced a set of LTE devices coinciding with launch of network. It is currently offering LTE smartphone from Sony the Xperia TM ion LTE and Huawei E397 LTE Internet Express Stick.
“We are pleased with the performance of our new network, and with its deployment, MTS continues to offer the best overall wireless data experience to more Manitobans than any other provider in Manitoba,” said MTS President Kelvin Shepherd.
