China Mobile’s Hong Kong unit CMHK is launching 4G LTE mobile data services on April 25. In addition operator has also announced a new Hong Kong- China cross-border data sharing plan to provide users the convenience and flexibility of a single number and data price plan in Hong Kong and when roaming in mainland China.
China Mobile’s Hong Kong unit CMHK is launching 4G LTE mobile data services on April 25. In addition operator has also announced a new Hong Kong- China cross-border data sharing plan to provide users the convenience and flexibility of a single number and data price plan in Hong Kong and when roaming in mainland China.
CMHK will release its first 4G LTE data plan, including handsets, on April 25th. By the end of 2012, operator plans to scale up its LTE coverage to a level on par with its current network, while indoor coverage will be up to 80 percent.
Capitalizing on China Mobile’s extensive network in Mainland China, CMHK will, from 20th April, offer a cross- border data sharing service for new customer s registering for 3G and 4G data plans in Hong Kong.
