Ericsson has been awarded 4G/TD-LTE contract by Augere to offer 4G services in two Indian states Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Augere, a wireless broadband service provider with 4G licenses, plans to offer broadband services under its ZOOSH brand.
The rollout of services will start from early next year, with a soft launch planned for early Q2 2012.
Ericsson will provide Augere with end-to-end TD-LTE solution including managed services in 14 cities in these two states. Ericsson’s offerings include it’s radio base station, the RBS6000, Evolved Packet Core technology and microwave transmission.
