Centernet and Mobyland test LTE in Poland

Polish telecom regulator, Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) has given permission to Polish cellular operators CenterNet and Mobyland to set up LTE test transmitters for LTE trials.

Polish telecom regulator, Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) has given permission to Polish cellular operators CenterNet and Mobyland to set up LTE test transmitters for LTE trials.

LTE tests will be carried out in 1800MHz band in Lodz and Aleksandrowie Kujawskim.

According to Aero2 which owns Mobyland, LTE services are not planned yet and will wait for affordable terminals.

Comercial LTE services in Poland are not to available soon, LTE deployment in Poland is expected to be after 2-3 years by 2013.
