UK’s communications service provider EE is doubling the speed and capacity of its 4G LTE network. According to company, this step enables lab speeds of 130Mbps and will boost peak 4G speeds to 80Mbps plus while doubling current average speeds to 20Mbps.

T-Mobile Launches LTE Network, to Sell iPhone 5 in April
U.S. carrier T-Mobile has launched its 4G LTE network in seven major metropolitan areas, including Baltimore; Houston; Kansas City; Las Vegas; Phoenix; San Jose, Calif.; and Washington, D.C. ZTE Completes LTE Civil Aviation Ground-Air Broadband Test
ZTE has completed commercial ground-air FDD-LTE-based broadband network test in cooperation with Hainan Airlines, company announced today. The test occurred in February 2013 on Hainan Airlines Flight HU7137 Beijing to Xi’an. Internet connectivity was available for 70 minutes of the two-hour flight.
