UK’s mobile operator EE today switched on its LTE-Advanced network in central London. The EE 4G+ technology uses 2.6GHz spectrum, and is available in large parts of central London, including Shoreditch, Old Street, Southbank, Soho, Westminster and Kensington.

PLDT Doubles TD-LTE Sites to Over 400 in Philippines
Philippines telecoms provider PLDT has expanded its Time-Division Duplex-Long Term Evolution (TD-LTE) network to over 400 cell sites at the end of September. The current total is more than double the 200 TD-LTE sites that had been installed as of April this year in such provinces as Cagayan
