ZTE has announced that it completed the download test using carrier aggregation (CA) technology in a commercial environment in collaboration with Guangdong arm of China Mobile. The test took place in an outdoor TD-LTE network environment.

SK Telecom has successfully demonstrated a core LTE-Advanced technology named Transmission Mode 9 (TM-9) under partnership with Ericsson, operator announced today. Sprint Expands LTE Service and Delivers an Improved 3G Experience in Puerto Rico
U.S. operator Sprint has significantly improved 3G service in Puerto Rico and also expanded 4G service by launching its LTE network in Aguadilla, Isabela, Cabo Rojo and Mayagüez. These cities are in addition to Ponce, Coamo and Guayama – which have offered LTE since 2012.
