Alcatel-Lucent has deployed a 4G LTE network for Setar, a telecommunications service provider on the Caribbean island of Aruba. The deployment makes use of 20 MHz of spectrum in the 1800MHz frequency band.

UK operator EE has switched on LTE-Advanced network today. It will initially cover London’s Tech City, with companies in the area being selected to access it first. EE has selected Huawei as its technology partner for this network. The LTE-Advanced be rolled out across London throughout 2014
ZTE Selected as a 4G Radio Equipment Supplier for BASE Company in Belgium
ZTE has been selected as a 4G radio equipment supplier for BASE Company, the Belgian subsidiary of Dutch mobile operator KPN. BASE Company has launched 4G services in 15 cities and was the second operator to start 4G in Belgium.
Intel’s 4G LTE Modem Now Commercially Available
