According to company, the enhanced solution optimizes VoLTE network connection quality and control with better bearer switching and shorter delay.

Along with LTE introduction, 3GPP also standardized Single Radio Voice Call Continuity (SRVCC) in Release 8 specifications to provide seamless continuity when an UE handovers from LTE coverage (E-UTRAN) to UMTS/GSM coverage (UTRAN/GERAN).
Huawei Makes VoLTE Call with eSRVCC Handover
Huawei has completed end-to-end VoLTE voice call with eSRVCC (Enhanced Single Radio Voice Call Continuity, defined in 3GPP R10) handover without any perceivable interruption for the end user, company announced.
