GSA: 274 LTE Commercial Networks Operational Globally

Recent GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association) report confirms deployment of 274 LTE commercial networks in 101 countries across the globe. List includes, 11 operators who have commercially launched LTE services so far this year.

GSA: 1,371 LTE User Devices Launched

GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association) confirms that 132 manufacturers have announced 1,371 LTE-enabled user devices, including frequency and carrier variants. The number includes 705 new LTE user devices that were launched in the past year. During same period, the number of manufacturers increased by 52%.

GSA: 350 Commercial LTE Networks by End of 2014

A latest report from GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association) confirms that 263 LTE networks have commercially launched in 97 countries till date. In last year alone, 112 LTE networks were launched worldwide. 

China Mobile Begins Pre-orders for 4G iPhone

China Mobile has started receiving pre-orders of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C which support the Operator’s TD-LTE technology, Xinhua News Agency has reported.  Operator has signed LTE deals with more than 10 mobile phone makers, including Samsung, HTC and Xiaomi.

GSA: Over 250 LTE Commercial Networks Worldwide

GSA, the Global mobile Suppliers Association, has announced that 251 LTE networks in 93 countries are now commercially launched. The number of countries with LTE service has grown 45% this year. 

GSMA Predicts One Billion LTE Connections by 2017

GSMA forecasts one billion 4G-LTE connections worldwide by 2017. At the end of 2013, there were 176 million LTE connections globally. Nearly 500 LTE networks are forecast to be in service across 128 countries, roughly double the number of live LTE networks today.
