Sprint faces shortage of HTC EVO 4G

While Sprint is increasing its WiMAX coverage in USA markets it appears that it has challenges to keep up with the sales of its first 4G HTC EVO handset.

Fujitsu working on first Android phone

Fujitsu is working on a Android based smartphone according to a Japanese portal sankeibiz.  According to report Fujitsu plans to release the Android powered smartphone in 2011.

Telefonica to launch femtocell services

Telefonica will launch a new service called ‘Mi Cobertura Movil’ (‘My Mobile Coverage’) to expand coverage in households with a device similar to a femtocells.  This service would cost 9 euros

Alvarion to offer TD-LTE support

Alvarion one of the global leader in the WiMax market, with most extensive customer base with hundreds of commercial WiMAX deployments, has stated that it will add support for TD-Long Term Evolutio
