ZTE To Unveil Two Android LTE Phones At MWC

China’s ZTE has announced two new LTE handsets running Android Ice Cream Sandwich with 1.2GHz and 1.5GHz chipsets. Company plans to showcase them at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress telecoms industry show in Barcelona.

LTE revenues reached over $ 2.1 Billion in 2011

As the market is taking off driven by early LTE efforts, LTE revenues have reached over $ 2.1 Billion, up from $ 0.6 Billion in 2010, says a report from Mind Commerce. As of Q4’2011 the North America region accounts for over 42 % of the total LTE Infrastructure revenue.
