Verizon Demonstrates 4.2 Gbps on Live 5G Network Using Eight channel Carrier Aggregation with mmWave

Using carrier aggregation, a technology that combines multiple channels of spectrum to provide greater efficiency for data sessions transmitting over the wireless network

Qualcomm and ZTE Make 5G Voice Over NR Call

Qualcomm and ZTE have established 5G-enabled Voice over New Radio call. The call was performed in compliance with 3GPP Release 15 specifications over the 2.5 GHz spectrum band (n41) by utilizing a ZTE’s 5G NR base station and a 5G smartphone form factor test device powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 5G Modem-RF System.

Verizon Extends 5G Service Coverage to Additional Markets

Verizon recently enabled 5G service in Cleveland and Columbus, OH, and Hampton Roads, VA. In addition, the operator made 5G service is available in the professional football stadium and hockey arena in Buffalo, New York. With these additions, operators 5G service is now available in 31 cities across USA.

AT&T Brings 5G Services in 10 USA Markets

AT&T 5G has now made 5G services available in 10 markets across USA. AT&T customers in Birmingham, Ala., Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Providence, R.I., Rochester, N.Y., San Diego, San Francisco and San Jose, Calif. market areas can now access AT&T’s 5G network using the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 5G.
