Omantel To Launch 4G LTE Network in Oman
Oman’s telecom services provider Omantel is set to launch its 4G LTE network in the coming few days. According to the company, with the awarding of the LTE network contracts last month by Tender Board, it has now reached a stage where its customers can soon start enjoying 4G LTE services through affordable modems.

Everything Everywhere has started customer LTE trial in Cumbria in the North of England. The 4G trial was announced in May. Employees of various local businesses in the Threlkeld area are testing 4G LTE using both dongles and routers. The trial is achieving speeds of 20 Mpbs, says the operator.

Namibia’s network operator Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) has commercially launched its LTE network. According to MTC, it has significant LTE coverage in Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia and expects to cover the whole of Windhoek with 4G LTE by the end of July 2012 .
