LTE Broadcast/LTE Multicast Market Status Overview

ANADIGICS Introduces Six TD-LTE Small-Cell Power Amplifiers

ANADIGICS has introduced six new power amplifiers (PAs)  for TD-LTE (Time-Division Long-Term Evolution) small-cell applications. These are AWB7031, AWB7032, AWB7228, AWB7231, AWB7232 and AWB7239 TD-LTE power amplifiers and optimized for small-cell applications including picocells, femtocells and customer premises equipment (CPE).  

EE Adds LTE in 18 More Towns across UK

UK carrier EE has launched 4G LTE network in a further 18 towns across Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England. Less than two years since launch, 4G from EE now covers over 75% of the population across 281 large towns and cities and more than 2,500 villages and small towns.

Alcatel-Lucent Extends Mobile Backhaul Capabilities with Full Outdoor Microwave Networking Unit and New Transceivers

Alcatel-Lucent is extending its wireless mobile backhaul capabilities to provide high-capacity deployment coverage via LTE heterogeneous networks (hetnets) – a mix of macro and small cell base stations. Company has announced a  new full outdoor microwave packet radio (MPR) networking unit to deliver LTE access.
