Nokia and SK Telecom Demonstrate 3.78 Gbps Using TDD-FDD Carrier Aggregation
Nokia and SK Telecom have reached a throughput speed of 3.78 Gbps by aggregating 10 spectrum frequencies allocated for both LTE variants for a 200 MHz of bandwidth. Earlier Nokia has demonstrated 2.6 Gbps TD-LTE throughput in February 2014 with US operator Sprint.

DOCOMO Verifies NFV Feasibility with Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco and NEC
NTT DOCOMO announced that it has completed proof-of-concept (PoC) trials verifying the feasibility of network functions virtualization (NFV) while working separately with Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco and NEC. SingTel Launches Full-Featured Voice over LTE Service
Singapore’s mobile operator SingTel has unveiled 4G ClearVoice, a commercial full-featured Voice over LTE (VoLTE) service, in collaboration with Samsung and Ericsson. Operator’s VoLTE service offers full suite of telephony features such as call waiting and forwarding on the 4G network.
LIME and Ericsson Complete LTE Roll-out in Cayman Islands
Cable & Wireless Communications (trading as LIME) has completed the roll-out of its new 4G LTE network in Cayman Islands. The network was installed by Ericsson as sole supplier, covering 100% of the islands. Ericsson has also expanded LIME’s existing HSPA network, which now covers 100% of the islands.
