ZTE announced that the company won a contract from Wind Telecom to build the 4G TD-LTE network in the Dominican Republic. TD-LTE contract includes ZTE’s unified platform EPC and eNodeB solutions.
ZTE announced that the company won a contract from Wind Telecom to build the 4G TD-LTE network in the Dominican Republic. TD-LTE contract includes ZTE’s unified platform EPC and eNodeB solutions.
Under the multi-year contract, ZTE will help Wind Telecom deploy a 4G TD-LTE network in 2.5 – 2.7 GHz spectrum covering major cities and rural areas of Dominican, as well as provide 4G mobile devices.
According to ZTE, as a provider of end-to-end TD-LTE solutions, ZTE has established TD-LTE trials and commercial networks for 66 operators in 40 countries in Europe, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Asia-Pacific, Southeast Asia, and the Americas.
