Vodafone Australia has switched on 4G LTE network in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle and Wollongong as announced earlier. Vodafone holds 2 X 20MHz contiguous spectrum and has demonstrated trial speeds up to 100Mbps earlier.
Vodafone Australia has switched on 4G LTE network in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle and Wollongong as announced earlier. Vodafone holds 2 X 20MHz contiguous spectrum and has demonstrated trial speeds up to 100Mbps earlier. Vodafone’s LTE network operates on the 1800MHzband.
From this month, operator will start inviting customers with a 4G phone and eligible phone plan to switch on 4G.
Vodafone has already announced the plans add nearly 2,000 additional sites this year to improve coverage.
