Internet service provider Menatelecom has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Huawei to deploy its LTE network in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Earlier this month company has approved the investment into the LTE wireless network to be deployed in the country.

With launch of 4G LTE, Menatelecom expects to provide both consumers and enterprises the fastest mobile broadband speeds of up to 100Mb and advanced voice services across the Kingdom of Bahrain. This new 4G LTE network will allow Menatelecom to continue to enhance its broadband services with more features and capabilities to provide the powerful broadband services to its clients in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Menatelecom, an investment subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House (Bahrain), already offers Internet services with nationwide WiMAX 802.16e end-to-end network.
