Japan’s mobile service provider NTT DOCOMO has unveiled three new smartphones and two new tablets, all compatible with the company’s Xi™ LTE mobile service, for launch in or after September.
Japan’s mobile service provider NTT DOCOMO has unveiled three new smartphones and two new tablets, all compatible with the company’s Xi™ LTE mobile service, for launch in or after September.
All models are capable of a maximum downlink speed of 75 Mbps and run on Android™ 4.0. Three of the five models are compatible with the NOTTV V-high multimedia broadcasting service, including the first NOTTV-compatible GALAXY tablet. One smartphone has enhanced quad core CPU and four models, including both tablets, have dual core CPUs.
AQUOS PHONE si SH-01E, a full-feature compact smartphone with thin-framed 4.1-inch display to maximize screen, 12.1-megapixel camera and advanced “ProPix” processor, will be launched in October, while Ascend HW-01E with 5-second startup and 13.1-megapixel camera is scheduled for October or November. Another smartphone, Optimus G L-01E is scheduled for October or November and features quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM and 2,210mAh high-capacity battery for quick, smooth operation.
MEDIAS TAB UL N-08D tablet, with 7-inch display weighs 249g , 7.9mm-thin body, 1.5GHz dual core CPU and HD haptics vibration technology, is planned for September or October. Whereas GALAXY Tab 7.7 Plus SC-01E will be r available in October or November timeframe and features organic EL display3 at 7.7 inches, a 7.9mm-thin body and 5,100mAh large-capacity battery.
