According to the operator, data tariffs with LTE-speed for laptops or tablets will be available from 14.99 euro per month. The current O2 Blue M and L tariffs for smartphone customers can be upgraded to the new mobile communication standard via a Surf Upgrade. For less than 50 euros per month, customers can get an all-net-flat with LTE. The tariffs are available with or without a contract term.
O2 is offering LTE-capable smartphones HTC ONE XL and LG True HD LTE as well as the O2 4G LTE surf stick from ZTE. Progression in the realm of tablets for O2 is with the Asus Transformer 300.
For Business Customers,O2 Business is launching a new data flat rate to the market in August. At 39 euros net, O2 Surf Flat XXL offers unlimited Internet access of up to of up to 50 megabits per second, which is reduced in speed to 64 kilobit per second only from a volume of 15 gigabytes per month.
At the same time the Business Customer division is also making some changes to its most popular voice and data tariff: O2 on Business will then be available in four different sizes. Following on from the recent introduction of O2 on Business S for 19 euros net per month, this flat rate sensation for frequent callers will also be introduced in three additional variants. LTE is already enabled for O2 on Business XL. Customers with tariff options M and L will soon be able to boost their transfer speed at an extra cost of just 5 euros net.
