Telenor Montenegro has announced 4G LTE coverage for Cetinje, the secondary capital of Montenegro. Operator expects LTE to provide users a mobile Internet experience with speeds up to 6 times higher than those available today with 3G technology.
Earlier this month, Telenor had launched 4G trial network in Podgorica, the capital and largest city of Montenegro.
“The world is spinning faster speeds with 4G, and we are pleased that we are at the forefront of bringing the region among the first new-generation technology to our customers in Montenegro. This means that our users will have much faster access to information, communication and entertainment,” said Kaaren Nilsen, CEO of Telenor Montenegro.
According to Telenor, LTE service will be be fully commercially available by 2012.
