Under the scope of the contract, Nokia Siemens Networks will supply its compact, energy-efficient and LTE-ready Flexi Multiradio Base Stations. NSN will provide network implementation and managed services to ensure a smooth rollout, improved network performance and seamless introduction of new services. The company will also provide its NetAct network management system to monitor, manage and optimize the 3G/HSPA+ network, and supply other operational support systems.
Tata Teleservices was one of the winner of 3G spectrum auctions held in May. Japan’s NTT DoCoMo owns 26 percent of Tata Teleservices.
