Vodafone Germany has launched a website and free hotline to inform consumers and businesses about the possibilities of LTE. The focus is on educating the public about the possibilities that LTE offers as well as when LTE is expected to be available in their region.
Vodafone plans to roll-out LTE to 1,500 locations during the twelve months from the end of September of this year. In these areas, Vodafone will offer its customers from the start speeds of 3Mbps and depending on the location speeds up to 50Mbps.
Vodafone Germany has already named Huawei and Ericsson as a technology partner for LTE development.
“The new website, we provide our customers and interested parties not only a special service already and to be continuously informed about the new broadband generation,” says Frank Rosenberg, managing director of retail Vodafone Germany.
