April 19, 2010 – According to The Australian, SINGTEL’S regional trial of the LTE mobile standard will start in Sydney next month, the same time Telstra is expected to kick off its tests.
April 19, 2010 – According to The Australian, SINGTEL’S regional trial of the LTE mobile standard will start in Sydney next month, the same time Telstra is expected to kick off its tests.
Singtel’s local subsidiary Optus will run the trial and it is understood the telco has selected wireless network vendor Nokia Siemens Networks to provide the technology for the slated LTE trials.
Telstra’s incumbent wireless network vendor Ericsson, and newcomers Huawei and Nokia Siemens Networks will supply the technology for LTE trials.
